Question :-

  • A force of 200 n is applied to an object of area 2 m sq. calculate the pressure ?

Answer :-

  • The pressure is 100 newtons per sq. metre or 100 pascals.

Given :-

  • Force = 200 N
  • Area = 2 m²

To find :-

  • What is pressure ?

Solution :-

As we all know that

  • Pressure = Force / Area

Now,

putting the values in the above formula we get,

↠pressure = 200N / 2 m²

↠ pressure = 100 N / m² or ( 100 Pa )

Hence, the pressure is 100 newtons per sq. m or 100 pascals.
