a person A has only p chromosome in all its gametes. on the other hand a person B has chromosome Q in half and R in other half. When chromosomes P and Q combine, a female zygote results.On the other hand, P and R results in a male zygote. (a)What are chromosomes P? Q? and R? (b)Out of P,Q and R which two are the same type? (c)Which chromosome is smaller in size?

P, Q and R are sex chromosomes because these help determine the sex of the fetus/baby.

The passage says P and Q form a female zygote; which means these are X chromosomes. 2 X chromosomes or as it is written XX chromosomes form a female zygote. So P and Q are same chromosomes. On the other hand Q and R forms male zygote I.e they are XY chromosomes.

X chromosomes are larger in size. So in this case P, Q are larger.
