Let total men in the theatre are x, women are y and children are z .

Case 1) :- All children except 50 .

So,

→ Men + Women = 50

→ x + y = 50 ------- Eqn.(1)

Case 2) :- All men except 200 .

So,

→ Women + Children = 200

→ y + z = 200 --------- Eqn.(2)

Case 3) :- All women except 110 .

So,

→ Men + Children = 110

→ x + z = 110 --------- Eqn.(2)

adding Eqn.(1) , Eqn.(2) and Eqn.(3) we get,

→ x + y + y + z + x + z = 50 + 200 + 110

→ 2(x + y + z) = 360

→ x + y + z = 180 ---------- Eqn.(4)

then,

→ x = Eqn.(4) - Eqn.(2)

→ x = 180 - 200

→ x = (-20)

since, number of men are in negative , given data is incorrect .
