let he bought 8 quintal of Rice in rupees 800.

so he bought 3 1uintal Rice in rupees 300.

and he sold the 3 quintal Rice in rupees 300+300×10%

=300+30

=330 rupees

than,he sold his another 3 quintal in neither loss nor profit.

so he sold this in 300 rupees .

in last he sold his left 2 quintal Rice in 5%loss.

so he sold this in - 200-200×5%

=200-10

=190

than he bought 8 quintal Rice in rupees 800.

and sold it in - 300+330+190

=820

SP is more than CP

so, this is a profit of rupees (820-800=20) rupees

Answer: 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let CP of 8 quintal is Rs.x

CP of 1 quintal = Rs. x/8

SP of rice 10% profit = 3x/8+3x/8×10/100

=3x/8+3x/80=33x/80

SP of rice without profit and loss = Rs. 3x/8

SP of rice at 5% loss = 2x/8−2x/8×5/100

=x/4−x/4×20=19x/4×20 = 19x/80

Total selling price = 33x/80+3x/8+19x/80

= 33x+30x+19x/80=82x/80

So profit = SP−CP/CP × 100=82x/80−x/x × 100

= (82−80)x/80x × 100 = 2/80 × 100

= 25%
