loss%=l/cp×100
20=l/9000×100
l=20×90
l=rs1800

profit%=p/cp×100
25=p/9000×100
25×90=p
p=rs2250

Explanation:

Let cost of scooters be x and y.

hence x+y=9000-------->2

given there is 25% profit on one watch .Hence sp of one watch is (x+(25/100)x)

and the other at a loss of 20%.hence sp will be (y-(20/100)y)

he neither gains nor loses i.e.,he sold for 9000.

from this we ccan write (x+(25/100)x)+ (y-(20/100)y)=9000---------->2

on solving 1 and 2 we get y=5000 and x=4000
