he buys the 100 cups 10 broken,,
100 \times 10 = 1000 - 100 = 900

and then he sell 90 cups as 11 rs so,,
90 \times 11 = 990

Cost of 100 cups = 100 x 10 = Rs 1000

Cups left after 10 broken = 100 - 10 = 90

Sales from 90 cups = 90 x 11 = Rs 990

Lost = 1000 - 990 = Rs 10

Percentage loss = 10/1000 x 100 = 1%

Answer: 1%
