In order for you to float, the water that moves out of the way to make room for you must weigh as much as you do. Since you are lighter (less dense) than water, the water pushes you up enough for you to float.

Dead sea contains a large amount of salts in it which prohibits the aquatic life and hence it is given name dead sea.

Due to higher concentration of salts in it ,it has higher density.

So because of higher density of the water of dead sea , a person floats over it which is not in the case of other seas..
