A person can jump higher on the surface of moon than on earth. Why?

On the moon the acceleration due to gravity is one sixth of the earth. Hence a person can 6 times higher on the surface of moon

because the gravitational force on the moon is low as compared to earth. In the moon the gravitational force is 1/6 of the earth gravitational force. Earth gravitational force is 9.8m/s
