Earth's gravity is 6 times moon's gravity. That means moon attracts an object with less force than earth. Hence a person can jump higher on moon than on earth.

The gravity on Moon is 1/6 th of the gravity on Earth.  That is because of Mass and radii of the planets.

So the force of attraction on an object , on Earth is 6 times that on Moon. So we can jump much higher on Moon with the same push on the ground.
