A person can walk at 3.6 km/hr. how long will he take to go around a

Solution:

Speed of the person = 3.6 km. p. h

Distance. = Perimeter of rectangle

= 30 m + 40 m + 30 m + 40 m = 140m

Therefore, speed of the person per minute should be,

3.6 km / 60 = 0.6 km = 600m p. min

Therefore, speed of the person per second should be,

600 m / 60 = 10m p. sec

Therefore time taken to cover 140 m should be,

140m / 10m = 14 seconds
