Given:-

  • Mass of each bricks , m = 2.5 Kg

  • No. of bricks ,n = 10 bricks

  • Displacement ,s = 20 m

To Find:-

  • Work Done ,W

Solution:-

When a force acting on a body and the body cover/displace for some distance . Then we said the Work is Done.

Total mass of bricks = 10×2.5 = 25 kg

W = Fs

where,

  • W denote Work Done
  • F denote force of
  • s denote displacement

Substitute the value we get

→ W = 25 × 20

→ W = 500 J

  • Therefore, the work done by the body is 500 Joule.

BrainlyIAS: Note : W = Fs Cos(theta) where , F = Force , s = displacement , theta = Angle b/w F and s

Answer:

Given :-

  • A person carrying 10 bricks each of mass is 2.5 kg on his head moves to a distance of 20 m.

To Find :-

  • What is the work done.

Formula Used :-

Work Done = Force × Displacement

Solution :-

Given :

  • Force = 2.5 kg = 2.5 × 10 = 25 kg
  • Displacement = 20 m

According to the question by using the formula we get,

Work Done = 25 × 20

Work Done = 500 J

The work done by a body is 500 J .
