a person connects about having resistance and an electric heater having resistance in series but they do not work properly when you connect the same appliances in parallel in the circuit the function normal explain the reason for this

Because when the resistance are in series then the voltage are different from that of main source. but in parallel connection the voltage remain same due to which appliance work properly in parallel combination of resistance.
