\textbf{QUESTION :-}

A person covers a certain distance by car at a speed of 25 km/h and comes

back at a speed of 40 km/h. What is his average speed during his travel?

\textbf{ANSWER :-}

let X be the distance

=> total distance = X+X = 2X

Average speed = 2X/(t1 + t2)

t1 = X/25

t2 = X/40

t1 + t2 = X/25 + X/40 = 13X/200

=> Average speer = (2X/(13X/200))km/h

= 400/13 = 30.77Km/h

\boxed{30.77Km/h}

 \frac{2 \times2 5 \times 40}{25 + 40}  \\  \\   =  >  \frac{2000}{65}  =  \frac{400}{13}  = 30.7

So, the average speed will be 30.7 km/h.
