Given, Time = 40/60 hr

                      = 2/3 hr

Given, Speed = 45 kmph

So, Distance = speed/Time

                       =  45 * 2/3

                       = 30 km

Given, Time of journey  = 30 mins

                                         = 30/60

                                          = 1/2 hr

So, Speed = Distance/Time

                   = 30 * 1/2

                   = 15kmph.

Hope this helps!
