A person crosses a 600m long street in 5mins. What is his speed in km/ph?

speed= distance/time

= 600/1000÷5/60

=600/1000×60/5

=3/5×12

=36/5kmph

5 minutes = 5 × 60 seconds =300 seconds

600/300=2m/s

1m/s=3.6km/h

2m/s=3.6×2=7.2km/h
