Let the no. of children be x

so,

the total amount of distribution is '250rs'

and the amount distribute to one child = x/250--(1)

now,

the total no. of student after increasing of 25

=x +25--(2)

the amount given to 1child after increasing of children = (x/250) - 1/2--(3)

now,

adding adding equations

x + 25 + x = (x/250) - (x/250) + 1/2

2x +25 = 1/2

2x = 1/2-25

x = 23/50
