EXPLANATION :-

initial speed of car is 60 km/hr

time taken to reach its destination is 4 hrs

therefore, distance = (60 × 4) kms = 240 kms

case 2,

if time is to taken as 3 hrs , and distance given is 240 kms

now,

speed should be = (240/3) kms/hr = 80 kms/hr

Answer:

40 kms/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the speed given and the time given, hence we will take out the distance which is (speed x time)= 120 km

hence we now have the time in the second case, and the distane, so the speed will be (distance/time)= 120/3

=40 km/hr

hope this helps you buddy :)
