A substance which gets converted into new forms and the new substance formed can't be back into it's original form is called a Chemical change. The new formed sunstance and the orginal substance have different chemical properties.

Explanation :

A person eats a chocolate and then digests it , in doing so there takes place a Chemical change . Because the digested one can't be back into it's orginal form (chocolate) and also it forms a new substance. Chemical changes are Irreversible .Some more examples of chemical changes are rusting of iron , Cooking of food , Burning of wood , and many more.\\
