a person falling on a cemented floor is injured more than a person falling on sandy floor. why ?

Because falling on cemented floor the velocity becomes 0 instantly... but in sandy floor it takes a time to be 0 and hence we don't gey injury....

Because it has a hard surface as molecular arrangements are tightly packed, in sand it's more soft or cushiony kind because the molecular arrangement is not loose
