Answer:

The reason is that the lower part of the person's body is in close contact with the bus. As the bus starts moving, his lower part shares the motion at once, but the upper part due to the inertia of rest cannot share the motion simultaneously and so it tends to remain at the same place. Consequently, the lower part of the body moves ahead and the upper part is left behind, so the person tends to fall backwards.

Answer

A person falls backwards when the bus suddenly starts moving because the person and the bus both are in rest while bus is not moving, but as the bus starts moving the legs of the person start moving along with the bus. But rest portion of its body as the tendency to remain in rest because of this the person falls backward if he was not alert.

Force :-

To do anything either we push or pull the objects. Therefore, push or pull is called force.

For example :- to open a door either we push or pull it.

Force is of two types -

• Balanced force

• Unbalanced force

=> In balanced force two or more forces acting on an object and the resultant of applied forces produced by all of them on the object is zero.

=> In unbalanced force net force is produced by two or more forces on an object is not zero.
