A person fires a gun standing at a distance of 55m from a wall if the speed of sound is 330m/s find the time for an echo to be heard

to find echo, the formula used will be:-
2d/t=v
where v is velocity, d is distance, t is time taken

so ATQ
t=2d/v
=55×55/330
=5×55/30
=9.16 sec(approx)

Distance=55m

distance required to hear an echo=110m

speed=330m/s

t=v/d

t=110/330

t=1/3

t=0.33s

Therefor, time taken to echo to be heard is 0.33 seconds
