A person found that more time is taken to cook rice in a hill station than in the plains. Why ? How can you make this work faster in the hills ?

Hill stations are situated at higher altitudes where the pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. The decrease in pressure lowers the boiling point and water boils at a temperature much below 100°C. Therefore, rice takes more time to cook on the hills than in the plains. 3
If we use a pressure cooker, rice can be cooked much faster as the pressure inside the cooker will beincreased. This, in turn, will increase the boiling point of water and, therefore, rice will be cooked
faster.
