International Date Line (IDL) which is an imaginary line passing through Greenwich (London). It is mostly adopted by the countries to decide which time zone they fall. 2.The earth rotates from west to east and it makes a difference as when moving to the east of IDL time is gained and vice versa. Now, knowing the above two facts we can conclude that if we fall to the east of IDL we gain a day and while at the same time anyone on to the west of IDL will lose a day. __________________________________
