this is due to inertia of rest and motion.
when the man was initially in moving bus he acquired inertia of motion due to motion of bus. when he jumped off the bus his legs comes in contact with the ground due to force of gravity earlier but his upper part still remains in motion. His upper body part tries to maintain its initial inertia of motion and thus he fell down forward.

If someone tries to get out of a moving bus then the momentum makes the person move forward. A person might fall in the forward direction due to moment of inertia when the speed is fast. This can be explained by the Newtons's law of inertia. The direction and speed of the person is the same as that of bus.
