Given:

Person goes 2 kms in East

Then turns right and goes 1 km

Turns right again and goes 3 kms

To find:

The current direction of the person.

Solution:

As we can see from the diagram that the final position of the man according to coordinate axes will be (-1.-1).

Since he starts from origin, his final position is in the south- west direction or more particularly 45° west from south.

He is in the south west direction from his starting point.

SOLUTION:- A person goes (A to B) 2km towards east ( given by figer)

And turn 1 km towards right (B to C)

Again 3 km towards right ( C to D)

So, total displacement is AD.

And the direction is south- west.

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
