Since the man goes around the rectangular field once, he covered the perimeter of the field once

Hence,

Perimeter of field = Distance travelled

Distance travelled = 2(Length + Breadth)

                                = 2(4+3) = 2×7 = 14m

Since the man returns back to the initial position after covering one round of the field, his initial and final positions are the same

Hence,

Displacement = 0m
