So, his speed by 20%, his final speed would be

=10080x​


= 54x​


Initially:


Speed = td​

x = d/t -----------(1) 

xt = d


After decrease in speed


54x​=td​+16 -------(2)


Or the equation can also be written as -


4xt+64x=5d


Eliminating d from equation(1)&(2)


5xt=5d  Rewriting Eq.1


4xt+64x=5d ---- Eq.2


4xt5xt​+64x=1


5xt=4xt+64x
