Answer:

3 Number of Socks Required to be drawn

Step-by-step explanation:

14 red socks and 14 white socks in a drawer

This question is a bit tricky and answer does not depened upon number of socks in drawer but depends upon number of colors of socks available in drawer.

Answer is always one more than number of colors available if Color of correct pair is not mentioned

As only two colors are there Red & Black so

3 Socks are enough to get a correct Pair

When 3 Socks are drawn possible cases are

BBB , BBR  , BRB , BRR , RBB , RBR , RRB , RRR -

BBB - Only on first two socks he get Black Pair

BBR  -  Only on first two socks he get Black Pair

BRB  - On 3rd Socks he Get Black Pair

BRR -  On 3rd Socks he Get Red Pair

RBB -  On 3rd Socks he Get Black Pair

RBR  -  On 3rd Socks he Get Red Pair

RRB  -  Only on first two socks he get Red Pair

RRR - Only on first two socks he get Red Pair
