Solution,

Given, Amount of money

the person has. ( ) = Rs 300 × 16

= RS 4800

where, cost of 1 pen = RS 300

according to the question,

if the cost the pen is RS 20 more [ i.e 320 ]

no. of pen the person could buy with RS 4800=?

Now,

Total no. of pens that he will be able to buy

= Total amount of money

cost of one pen

= Rs 4800

Rs 320

= 15

Thus, He will be able to buy 15 pens costing RS 320 each with the total amount RS 4800.
