A person has Nu.35000 that he has divided into three investments. Part of the money is
invested in a savings account with an annual rate of interest of 6%, part in bonds which
yield 7% as annual interest rate, and the rest in a business. On a particular year, the
investment that he made in business got into a loss of 6% and the net income from all the
investments was Nu.660. If he invested Nu.3000 more in the business than in the savings
account, how much was invested in each? Find the solution after formulating a system of
linear equations by (i) Matrix method (ii) Crammer’s rule.
