A person has to cover a dostance of 60km in 45 minutes. If he cover one half of the instance in two third of the total time; to cover the remaining distance in the remaining time his speed in km/hr must be.​

He covers one half of the distance

(3 kms), in two third of the total time

(30 mins).

  • Balance 3kms are to be covered in 15 minutes.

Speed in kmph will be -

 \\  \implies \sf \:  \dfrac{60 \times 3}{15}  \\  \\  \\  \implies \sf \:  \dfrac{180}{15}  \\  \\  \\  \implies \sf \blue{12 \: kmph} \\  \\

So,his speed in km per hour will be 12.
