A PERSON HEARS AN ECHO FROM THE TOP OF A TOWER,2.2 SECOND AFTER THE SOUND IS THE PRODUCED.HOW FAR AWAY IS THE TOWER FROM PERSON ? SPEED OF THE SOUND IN AIR IS 332m/sec.

Speed (v) = 332 m/s
Distance (d) = ? ( to be calculated )

We know that,
2 d = v × t
2 d = 332 × 2.2
2d = 730.4 m
d = 730.4/2
d = 365.2m

The distance of tower from the person is 365.2 m.
