a person hears an echo from the top of a tower, 2.2 seconds after the sound is produced. howv far away is the tower from the person speed of the sound in air is 332m/sec.

Total distance travelled by sound=Speed x time=332 x 2.2=730.4 m
Now, the distance of tower from the person=Total distance travelled/ 2=730.4/2=365.2 m
