==================================

SP = 1140

loss% = 5%

CP =
 \frac{100}{100 - 5}  \times 1140

 \frac{100}{95}  \times 1140

= 1200

now ,,

CP = 1200

profit % = 5%

SP =

 \frac{100 + 5 }{100}  \times 1200

= 1260

so, the selling price is 1200

Hope it helps you

Thanks for asking......

\huge\bold\blue{Solution :\longrightarrow}

For the watch

SP = Rs 1140

Loss % = 5%

\mathsf\green{CP = \frac{100}{(100 - loss\%)} \times SP} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \mathsf\green{= Rs} \:[ \: \mathfrak\green{\frac{100}{(100 - 5)} \times 1140} ]\\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \mathsf\green{= Rs} \: \: \mathfrak\green{(\frac{100}{95} \times 1140)} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \mathsf\green{= Rs} \: \: \mathfrak\green{1200}

Now, CP = Rs 1200 and desired profit% = 5%

\mathsf\red{Desired \: \: SP = \frac{(100 + profit\%)}{100} \times CP} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \mathsf\red{= Rs} \:[ \: \mathfrak\red{\frac{(100 + 5)}{100} \times 1200}] \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \mathsf\red{= Rs} \: \: \mathfrak\red{( \frac{105}{100} \times 1200)} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:\mathsf\red{ = Rs} \: \: \mathfrak\red{1260}

\bold\purple{Hence, \: \: the \: \: desired \: \: selling \: \: price} \\ \bold\purple{is \: \: Rs \: \: 1260.}
