Height of the flying kite from the ground is 15\sqrt{3}m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given values are,

length of the thread of the kite = 30 m

Angle of elevation = 60^\circ

Let, height of the flying kite from the ground= x m

Figure for this attached below

As we know that in a right angle triangle value of sin\theta is given by

              Sin\theta   = \frac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

              Sin 60^\circ  =  \frac{x}{30}

putting value of sin 60^\circ = \frac{\sqrt 3{} }{2}

We get,

                           \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} = \frac{x}{30}

By cross multiplication

                           2x = 30\sqrt{3}

    Height of the flying kite from the ground, x = 15\sqrt{3} m

Thus,

Height of the flying kite from the ground is 15\sqrt{3} m
