Therefore the person gets more hurt another reason behind this is that on a concrete floor the momentum of the falling body receives a very short time and thus comes in contact with the floor quickly. Whereas in loose sand or mud thsis doesn't happen and the falling body gets larger time to read h the ground and thus doesn't get hurt much .
