a person is prone to more injuries when falling from a certain height on a hard Concrete floor than on a Sandy surface. Explain why?

This is only because the surface on which that person is going to fall is hard and rigid in nature and is going to even scatter also so the total reaction force by the concrete floor will be only on that person but if we talk about the sand , it gets scattered no sooner as we will fall on it and hence the total reaction force on him cannot be like the concrete floor.
