Answer:
Sir Isaac Netwon
English Physicisit and Mathematician. Formulated the laws of motion and invented calculus
Laws of Motion
Three laws -
Law 1 = Law of Inertia
Law 2 = F = ma
Law 3 = Law of Equal and Opposite Forces
Law of Inertia
An object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalaced force. An object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalaced force. (Things keep moving or stay at rest unless a force acts on them)

Answer:
Newton's first law of motion.
Explanation:
- Eminent scientist Issac Newton had proposed three laws of motion.
- According to the first law of motion: If a body is in motion it will continue in motion, and if a body is in rest , it will remain in rest until an external force opposing the motion or the state of rest of the body is applied to it.
- When a car moves, the person sitting in the car is also in motion with respect to a stationary object situated outside the car. But, when the car is stopped, the person sitting in the car opposes this change which causes it to stop and try to continue in motion. Due to this, the person is pushed forward which shows its tendency of continuing the motion. This property of the person is known as inertia.
