**As we all know that ,plant's leaves contain a green pigment called chorophyll... this chlorophyll helps the plant to carry out photosynthesis for their nutrition.....So... chlorophyll plays a major, important role in providing nutrition to plants...and thus if a plant doesn't contain chorophyll...it cannot make it's food through process of photosynthesis...
Also there are other plants which have other different kinds of coloured leaves.... photosynthesis does occur in this plants .. Even though chlorophyll will always be seen as green...there are many other plants which have reddish, yellowish, brownish coloured pigment in them which actually covers the chlorophyll ...and hence photosynthesis can also occur in such plants....♥❤
