For this question we have been given

Displacement,s = 142•5 m

Total time taken,t = 15 sec

Acceleration,a = 0•2m/s^2

So we have an equation of motion

s=ut + 1/2at^2 where 'u' is initial velocity

→142•5=15u+0•5×0•2×(15)^2

→142•5=15u+22•5

→120=15u

→u=8m/s
