At the rate of 12 kmph the distance covered in 30 minutes is half of 12 km i.e 6 km or 6000 meters.

6000 meters are the 10 times of the perimeter of the field, hence the actual perimeter is..

6000/10 = 600 m. And the length of the field is twice the breadth then the ratio of the Dimentions is 1: 2 and out of the 600 m of the perimeter…

600/3 = 200 m is the breadth and the length is 400 m.

Therefore the Area of the rectangular field in square meters is..

400 X 200 = 80000 or

80000 m² answer.
