The defect name is Hypermetropia (or) Hyperopia.

EXPLANATION:

People with hypermetropia must squint to see nearby objects. Reading, writing, computer work or drawing for long periods of time may cause eye strain and headache.

In this defect the image of any nearby object is seen behind the retina. This means that the light is focusing too far back on the eye, which causing things that are closed up to the object appear blurred and so that the term can be used to define “being long-sightedness”.

Hypermetropia is corrected by the using a convex lens. This is placed on the front eye of the hypermetropic, which is the forward movement of the image and also it is correctly focusing it on retina correctly.
