A person lift a wooden case of mass 64kg through a vertical height of 1.5m.
a)Calculate the work done on the case.
b)If the person used an inclined plane with an efficiency of 75% to raise the case through the same height,find the amount of work he would then do.

Work done(W)= Force(F)*Displacement(s)

force=ma=mg (acceleration due to gravity)

W=Fs=mgh

=20×9.8×1 .5

=294Nm (or) 294J
