LIFE CYCLE OF PLASMODIUM

Humans acts as a primary host for plasmodium whereas female anopheles mosquito acts as a secondary host .

1. When the infected female mosquito bites man it releases sporozoites (an infectious stage of plasmodium )

these sporozoites migrate to liver cells divide and rupture them then they migrate ro RBCs and agai.n complete division mitotically and rupture it but during ruptute of RBCs a chemical substance Haemozoins are released which results into chills and fever

2. then they form gamete which is again suck by another fresh non infected female anopheles mosquito which bites you and fertilization takes place in her gut and form zygote which then form different stages and ultimately sporozoites which stores in salivary gland and thereby the female acts as a carrier of it and bites another healthy man leaving sporozoites it his body .
