A person measures the time period of a simple pendulum inside a stationary lift to find it to be T. If the lift starts accelerating upwards with an acceleration of g/3, what will be the time period of the pendulum?

time period = 2π × √L/√g
=2π × √L/√g+g/3
= 2π × √L/√4g/3.
