Distance= 50 m
Time taken to cover that distance= 1 min 40 sec= 100 sec
Speed = Distance÷Time= 50/100= 0.5m/sec
Now convert into km/h
speed×18÷5= (0.5×18)÷5= 9/5= 1.8km/h

Answer

0.5m/s

Explanation:

Distance = 50m

Time Taken = 1 minutes 40 second ( 1 minutes = 60 second )

= 60 second + 40 second

= 100 second

Formula of Average speed

Total Distance

Average speed =------------------------

Total Time Taken

= 50 m / 100 s

= 0.5 m/s
