speed=?

distance=πr

3.14×44

=138.16

time=3600s

speed=distance÷time

138÷3600=0.0383m/s

velocity=?

displacement=2r=2×44=88m

time=3600s

velocity=displacement÷time

88÷3600=0.024m/s

ANSWER

Given

  • Radius of Circle = 44m
  • Time taken from A to B through C = 60min = 3600s

Displacement = AB = Diameter

Circumference of semicircle = πr = 44 × 3.14 = 138.16

  • Circumference of semicircle = distance travelled
  • Distance (d) = 138.16

Speed = Distance/time = 138.16/3600 = 0.03m/s

Velocity = Displacement/time

Here,

Displacement = Diameter = 2(radius) = 2(44m) = 88m

Velocity = 88/3600 = 0.02m/s

Hence, velocity = 0.02m/s & speed = 0.03m/s
