A person needs a lens of power -5.5 diopter for correcting his distant vision. For correcting his near vision he needs a lens of power + 1.5 diopter . what is the focal length of the lens for correcting (i)distance vision, (ii) near vision​

Focal lenght: 1/Power

as Power=1/Focus

1) Distance vision

=1/-5.5

=-1000/5.5

=-200/11

=-18.18

2) Near a Vision

=100/1.5 cm

=1000/15 cm

=200/3

=66.66cm
