A person observing a tree on earth finds the tree at rest. Will an astronaut on moon also find the tree on earth at rest? Justify your answer. ( please answer this question in simple terms because I study in class 6)​

The person finds it in rest as the tree and the person are both connected to the same plane or object (earth) which is at rest to them .where as in the case of the astronaut he is not in the same plane of the tree thus he sees the plants in motion .

As we and tree are in same frame that is earth. In this case we and tree both are rotating and revoluting with same speed and acceleration so tree will be at rest for us.

But an astronaut on mon and tree will be in different frames

As the speed of rotation and revolution of Earth and Moon are different it will accelerate

for a person on Moon and hence not at rest.
