A person of 50 kg weight is lifting a stone of 20kg at a height of 100cm and hold it without raising or lowering it. (A) How much work is done by the man in lifting the stone? (B) How much work is done in just holding it? (C) Why does he get tired while holding the stone?

work done is 0

this is because the weights are perpendicular to the base and sin 90 is 0

hence work done is also zero.

the man feels tired as his body has to apply some force to withstand the pressure of the weight hence in reply the body applies pressure due to which the body gets tired after some time.
